1.The short version
Song Booth has no accounts. We don't know your name, your email, or your phone number, and we never ask. Your device generates an anonymous identifier, and that identifier is the only thing tying your songs to you. We show no ads, we sell no data, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
2.What we hold
An anonymous device identifier, created on your device.
What you make: the prompts, lyrics, titles and settings you submit, the generated audio and artwork, and the albums you arrange songs into. Albums are stored so a new phone or a reinstall can restore them.
Purchase records from Apple: transaction identifiers and which subscription is active. Apple processes the payment itself — we never see your card, your Apple ID, or your billing details.
3.What leaves your device
When you create a song, the words you typed are sent to the music provider you selected (such as Suno, Mureka, or MiniMax) to generate it. They receive the creative text and the generation settings — nothing that identifies you. Their processing is governed by their own terms.
Nothing else you do in the app is transmitted anywhere except to our own service.
4.Where songs live
Generated audio and artwork are stored on our infrastructure so your songs can be played again, restored to a new device, and shared if you choose to share them. Songs you play are also cached on your device so your library works offline.
5.Sharing and public songs
A song is private until you make it public. A public song can be heard by anyone with its link and may appear in the app's Explore section. You can make it private again at any time, which removes it from both.
6.Deletion
Deleting a song removes its stored audio and artwork for good — there is no copy left to restore, which is also why the app asks before doing it. Clearing local downloads removes the copies on your device only.
7.Children
We collect no personal information from anyone — children included. Song Booth is not directed at young children.
8.Security
Everything the app sends and receives travels over encrypted connections, and stored songs are reachable only through the app's own service.
9.Changes
If this policy changes, the version here is the current one, with the date above.
